BLIFTD ART STVDIOS is an artist-run co-working studio, performance space, and platform for peer-to-peer art education and DYNAMIZATION IN ART PRACTICES in Baltimore, MD.
WHY ARE WE?

at bliftd, we believe in the dynamization of art practices. This refers to the incorporation of movement and energy to convey a sense of change, fluidity, or action within artwork. It contrasts with static forms that emphasize stability and permanence.
Through the creative reuse of the historic American Can Company building, we offer artists the space and programming to achieve the visibility and professionalism necessary for sustainable art careers, creating new access points to art resources and networks historically made available only through Baltimore's traditional art institutions.
Pulling from our founding artists' combined 100+ years of art making, art education, and networking, we are trailblazing an alternative path for artists to find their place in Baltimore's burgeoning art scene, one that is accessible to those outside of the city's traditional pathways.
